I am not worthy, but I’ll try,
Moving forward till I die,
Though I misstep along the way,
I get closer day by day,
To life as you meant it to be,
Loving, blessed and Holy.
I don’t deserve it, but I call,
To catch me when I fall,
To bring me home again,
In your presence, out of Sin,
With a heart meek and true,
In your paradise anew.
Jesus please hear my plea,
Remove the darkness, and let me see,
The path that I should take,
And the one that I should forsake,
On my wandering path to you,
And the mission I’m meant to do.

Be a Maker!
Be a builder not a breaker,
Be a giver not a taker,
Be yourself not a faker,
But most of all be a maker!
A maker of peace.
A maker of love,
Care for the least,
Seeking strength from above.
Be a listener,
And do not fight,
For there is a path,
Between the left and right.
Shades of Grey
Some see black,
Some see white,
I see Grey!
Some see Blue State,
Some See Red State,
I see the United States!
Some see left,
Some see right,
I see center!
Some say you got to stand for something,
Or you’ll fall for anything.
I say stand too hard for something,
And you will fall for anything!
In the end, the Beatles had it right,
The Love you take is equal to the love you make!
Listen, learn, love,
As we discern the best answer,
Through Shades of Grey!
Paths: Meandering and Meaning at 2 AM
We wonder, wish and wait,
For a life full and great,
While time goes floating by,
In all our efforts and sighs,
But faith will see us through,
To a purpose winding but true,
For our path is not a clear one,
And only known by the Son.
So be thankful everyday,
For the small role you play,
In God’s ultimate design,
Where all hearts and souls shine!
